Bob Brandau - Behavioral Training Specialist
Robert H. Brandau is a specialist in Non-Verbal Communications. He has worked as an animal behaviorist, specializing in canine behavioral modification for over twenty five years. He is recognized in this field for his innovative approach for modifying canine behavior and development especially in regard to human/canine interaction. Working with Joseph Riggio for over 15 years, they co-created the "Kinship" Training Method used today by Canine Companions.
Evidence of the collaborative work done by Joseph and Robert can be seen in some of the different training and behavioral development models used today at JSRI. Mr. Brandau works for JSRI primarily in the capacity of a project manager as a professional observer and production specialist overseeing the filming and recording of JSRI training projects for internal use and trainer development. He is sometimes involved with the actual project implementation when the situation calls for his specific and unique professional skills.
Robert holds degrees and licenses in behavior, counseling, hypnosis and NLP. Robert is an internationally recognized master dog trainer/behaviorist, expert witness and a dog training and behavioral development specialist.
